Their permanent chemical-resistant adhesive will withstand immersion in various histology chemicals, including xylene and xylene substitutes, as well as MEK, DMSO, toluene, alcohols, and other organic solvents found in histology laboratories*. Moreover, these labels will stay stain-free and clear following staining procedures involving hematoxylin and eosin, and can withstand high temperature treatments associated with histology slide preparation.
