- Remote/receiver with RJ45 (to connect to host) and USB-A socket for remote USB device with 5v DC input for increased signal strength and high powered remote devices.
This adapter is a DIRECT connection and is not designed to extend connectivity over a live network (through a hub, switch router, etc). Plugging this device into a live network data connection may cause damage to host device, remote device, and network infrastructure (hubs, switches, modems, routers, etc). Only use a SINGLE UTP Cat5/6 cable between Host and Remote adapters.
